Come early to procure your winning raffle tickets and snag something from the sales table.
Sales table , raffle sales and library will be shut while speakers present .Open again at morning tea time.
A reminder Membership fees are due now. $25 per single soul and $35 per couple.
For new people planning on joining us , first visit is free then a gold coin donation for 2 more meetings would be appreciated. After the 3 meetings we hope they will choose to be full paid members.
Its that time to start thinking about Christmas already.
We will be having two raffles, one food and one garden.
Donations of non perishables greatly accepted!
Bring along to next 2 meetings.
Christmas lunch will be at the Paraparaumu Golf Club .
Note change of date Tuesday 15 December 11.30.
There will not be a meeting in December.
A gentle reminder we are still needing a new Treasurer and Secretary. We have secured a Minutes Secretary but still need a General Secretary. If you are keen please contact Diane if you are able to help.
We cannot continue if these positions are not filled.

Treasurer Job Description.
You will need to be authorized with BNZ to be a signatory.
This requires some paperwork to set up, but not too onerous.
You will need to be able to do on-line banking.
Each month after the meetings bank the takings e.g. Sales, Raffles. Membership fees.
Record the takings in a Cash register Book.
Balance this each month with the Bank statements, then prepare a financial statement to present to the committee.
Pay any accounts each month e.g. rent for the Hire of Hall.
At the end of the year prepare the years figures and present to the Society’s Annual Meeting.
Marie will continue as a back up initially- so you won’t be left to flounder.
